An exceptional teak tall double wide bookcase by Poul Hundevad from Denmark. Gorgeous Mid-Century Modern Teak bookcase / tall bookshelf unit. Beautiful, minimalist, clean, straight lines that feature ten shelves, eight are adjustable, two are fixed. Tall and wide in size with tons of storage space. This bookcase is in good overall condition, but does show some wear and comes from a cat-friendly home. Solid, well-built bookcase flows very nicely with contemporary, retro, vintage, traditional or Danish modern or mid-century modern décor, great for the home or office. This bookshelf measures 77” H x 54.5” W x 12” D. Matches following lot. Poul Hundevad (1917-2011) was a Danish furniture designer known for his elegant and functional designs. He was born in Denmark and trained as a cabinetmaker before starting his own furniture workshop in the 1940s.
