Lot 51:
An Orthoceras fossil tower in marine limestone matrix. Orthoceras is a genus of extinct nautiloid cephalopod mostly found embedded in marine limestones of the Baltic States and Sweden. They lived approximately 200-500 million years ago. This is an excellent fossil specimen, measuring 9.5″ H x 4.5″ W x 3.25″ D.
