Untitled original work of art on board believed to be by listed artist, Preston McCrossen. This work along with others came directly from the McCrossen family. Preston McCrossen (1894 – 1981) was active/lived in California, Michigan, New Mexico. Preston McCrossen is known for Painting. Preston McCrossen was born in Clyde, MI on Dec. 5, 1894. Formerly of New York, McCrossen was in Taos, NM before moving to Mill Valley, CA in 1927. By 1936 he had moved to Santa Fe, NM where he remained until his demise in September 1981. 1927 written on verso. Measures 23” H x 17” W.
