“Migrant Mother” a silver photograph in glossy finish by listed photographer Dorothea Lange. Includes the original purchase receipt and set on a black backer board. Migrant Mother is a photograph taken in 1936 in Nipomo, California, by American photographer Dorothea Lange during her time with the Resettlement Administration. Dorothea Lange was an American documentary photographer and photojournalist, best known for her Depression-era work for the Farm Security Administration. Lange’s photographs influenced the development of documentary photography and humanized the consequences of the Great Depression. Measures approximately 14” H x 11” W.
