“Self Portrait” a brown ink wash artwork by listed artist Robert Hess. Circa 1990. Hand signed in the bottom left by the artist. Measures in the frame 15.25″ H x 17.25″ W. Hess (1935-2014) was well known as a sculptor and art educator. Most prominently known for his abstract metal sculptures and wood carvings, Hess began his art career as a painter studying old masters of painting.
