An original oil on board artwork depicting a forested landscape in California, created by listed artist John August Dominique. Circa 1959. Hand signed and dated in the bottom right corner. Measures in the frame 15.75″ H x 13.75″ W. Dominique (1893-1994) was a well known painter who created artworks of powerful landscapes, impressionism, and his often secretive abstract works.
