“Chaude Lumiere D’Ete” a seriolithograph in color on archival paper by listed artist Emile Bellet. Circa 2011. Signed in the plate. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity. Measures in the frame 31″ H x 26.75″ W. Bellet (1941–2022) was a self-taught artist who aligned himself with the discipline of the Fauves. They painted in vivid non-authentic color, and Bellet mastered this discipline with an impasto knife, using highly saturated colors to paint his elongated mannerist forms. Bellet’s paintings often center on a mysterious figure, representing a timeless and ageless femininity.
