Lot 71:
A sterling silver plate, circa 1814 with British sterling hallmarks under the rim. On the top of the plate are two engravings bearing the motto of The Order of the Bath “Tria Juncta in Uno”. The Order of the Bath is a special Order of Knights which recognizes the work of senior military officials and civil servants. To be a Knight or Dame Grand Cross of the Order is recognized as the highest British military order obtainable.The plate weighs 1lb. 8.9 oz and measures 10.75″ H.
