Lot 18:
A red-orange glazed ceramic box with lid made by listed artist Aldo Londi for Bitossi. Made in Italy, circa 1960. Design number and Italy stamped on the base. Measures 2.25″ H x 8″ W x 4.25″ D. Londi (1911-2003) lived a life dedicated to art: he was a painter and sculptor, but above all he was a ceramist. In 1946, Londi joined Bitossi, in a partnership that would last over fifty years.
