Lot 90:
A large Mid Century stoneware platter decorated with a blue and green floral design, made by listed artist Aldo Londi for Bitossi. Made in Italy Design number and Italy stamped on the base. Measures 3.25″ H x 13.25″ W. Londi (1911-2003) lived a life dedicated to art: he was a painter and sculptor, but above all he was a ceramist. In 1946, Londi joined Bitossi, in a partnership that would last over fifty years.
