Lot 60:
A stunning work of art by listed Oregon ceramicist, William Creitz. This piece can be displayed as a lid or large bowl and features an oatmeal glaze and beautiful detail. Measures 9” H x 12” W. Creitz was an early break-away potter of the post war period. He attended Portland State University in the 1950’s and was a student of Ray Grimm. Credeitz had a studio in Oregon. Creitz’s influences included Japanese pottery, Byzantine art, and art-deco styles.
