A stunning and iconic set of six BRNO cantilever chairs by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich for Knoll. The Brno chair has become a modern furniture classic. It has very clean lines, consisting of a steel frame in a single piece, bent into a C-shape from the middle of the back, round past the front edge of seat (to create arms), and back under the seat to create a cantilever, with taut seat and back upholstered in leather. There are two versions of the chair, one in tubular steel and the other in flat steel. Each chair features original polished stainless steel and measures 30.25” H x 22.5” W x 19.5” D. Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was a German-American architect, academic, and interior designer. He was commonly referred to as Mies, his surname. He is regarded as one of the pioneers of modern architecture. The leather upholstery shows patina and wear throughout shown in the photos. Each of these chairs is incredibly solid and well-built, ready to live another life in your home!
